Technical Specifications & Performance

What is the rated power and torque capacity of this gearbox?

Our gearbox manufacturing capabilities cover a power range of 0.15 kW to 40,000 kW and gear ratios from 1 to 3,000.

The measured sound pressure level is 78 dB(A) at one meter distance under rated load and 1,500 rpm input, tested per ISO 3746 in a semi-anechoic chamber. Low-noise variants with ground gears and optimized housing stiffness can reduce this to below 72 dB(A).

Materials & Manufacturing

What materials are used for the gears, shafts, and housing?

The gears are made from 20CrMnTiH (AISI 5120H equivalent) carburizing-grade alloy steel. Output shafts use 42CrMo4 (AISI 4140) forged alloy steel. The housing is cast from GG25 (ASTM A48 Class 30) grey cast iron, with ductile iron GGG40 available for high-vibration applications.

All helical gears undergo vacuum carburizing followed by oil quenching and tempering. The tooth surface hardness reaches 58u201362 HRC, with a case depth of 0.8u20133.0 mm. The core hardness is maintained at 32u201345 HRC to ensure toughness and resistance to tooth fracture.

Quality & Certification

What quality management system is certified?

Our manufacturing facilities are certified to ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety.

Every gearbox undergoes a standardized test protocol including: no-load run-in test at incremental speeds for a minimum of 4 hours; full-load back-to-back efficiency test for 2 hours; vibration spectrum analysis per ISO 10816; oil leakage check under 1.5u00d7 operating pressure; and thermal stability monitoring. A full test report is shipped with each unit.

Application & Customization

Can this gearbox be customized for our specific application?

Yes. Our engineering team can customize gear ratios, shaft configurations, mounting dimensions, cooling systems, and accessory packages to match your exact requirements. We provide a detailed application review form to capture your duty cycle, load spectrum, ambient conditions, and space constraints, then deliver a customized design with full calculations within 3u20135 working days.

Output shafts are available in solid cylindrical, hollow bore with shrink disc, splined, or flanged configurations. Input shafts can be solid cylindrical, hollow for motor mounting (NEMA or IEC frame), or coupled via flexible coupling. We offer gear couplings, disc couplings, and elastomeric couplings from stock, and can accommodate customer-specified coupling brands.
